Description: Why do athletes sometimes shoot brilliantly in training… then struggle in competition? Pressure changes focus, breathing, tension and confidence. This interactive Sports Psychology workshop, delivered alongside shooting practice, will help tetrathletes understand how nerves affect performance and learn simple techniques to support them towards staying calm, focused and more accurate under pressure. A valuable opportunity to support young athletes to compete with greater confidence, composure and enjoyment. This workshop is for Junior/Intermediate/Open Tri/Tetrathletes Coaches: Amelia Collins. Amelia Collins is a Sport Psychologist (SEPiT) and performance coach working across high-performance sport, supporting athletes, coaches and multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable performance within complex sporting environments. Her work spans grassroot through to elite performance, including athletes competing at national and international level, as well as those representing their country. She also works closely with coaches operating within high-performance and international sport environments. Matt Rees. PC RCO
